Winters (December to February) offer chilly cool climate with temperature touching down to 4°C. December and January months are freezing.

Summers (April to July) are moderate with maximum temperature below 30°C. The weather is perfect for Almora tourism.

By Air - The nearest airport is located at Pantnagar, which is usually a 4-hour drive. The Pantnagar Airport is less of a commercial airport and used more by private charters.
By Train – You can take a train up to Kathgodam, the nearest railway station which is located 90 km away from Almora.
By Road – The roads leading to Almora are butter-smooth, barring an occasional bump now and then. A drive up to Almora is a plan worth considering.
