Best time to visit Kangra
The ideal time to visit Kangra is between September to June. The summer months of May and June make an ideal time for trekking in the valley. The temperature stays up to 22-30 degrees celcius making it pleasant for weekend getaways.

How to reach Kangra
By Air - Gaggal airport is at a distance of 13 Kms from the city of Kangra. Chandigarh, Amritsar and Jammu airports are also in the vicinity of Kangra. Taxis are accessible from here.
By Train - There is a broad gauge railhead located in Pathankot near Kangra at a distance of around 90 Km. Taxis are available from railway station to the city.
By Road - The place has a well connected and the state owned bus station connects it with all the major north Indian cities and towns. Buses run from Kangra to various places, like Dharamsala, Palampur, Pathankot, Jammu, Amritsar and Chandigarh.
